By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or receiving treatment at Touchwood Laser and Skin Clinic ("the Clinic", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
These Terms apply to:
- All treatments and services provided at our clinic
- Online bookings and consultations
- Purchase of products and gift vouchers
- Use of our website and digital platforms
Touchwood Laser and Skin Clinic provides professional aesthetic and skin care treatments including but not limited to:
- Laser hair removal
- HydraFacial treatments
- Body contouring and fat reduction
- Skin rejuvenation treatments
- Anti-wrinkle injections
- Chemical peels and microneedling
- Pigmentation and skin condition treatments
Important: All treatments are subject to a consultation and patch test where required. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it is not suitable for you or may pose a health risk.
Treatment results may vary between individuals and are not guaranteed. We will provide realistic expectations during your consultation.
Age Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older to receive most treatments
- Clients aged 16-17 may receive certain treatments with written parental/guardian consent and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
- Some treatments have higher age restrictions which will be advised during consultation
Consultation Requirements:
- A consultation is required before your first treatment
- You must provide accurate and complete medical history
- You must disclose all medications, supplements, and health conditions
- Patch tests are mandatory for certain treatments and must be completed at least 24-48 hours before treatment
- Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in treatment being refused or adverse reactions
Contraindications:
Certain medical conditions, medications, or circumstances may prevent you from receiving treatment. These will be discussed during your consultation. Common contraindications include pregnancy, certain skin conditions, recent sun exposure, and specific medications.
Booking Confirmation:
- Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person
- A confirmation will be sent via email and/or SMS
- Please ensure your contact details are correct
- Certain treatments may require a deposit at the time of booking
Arrival:
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment
- Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or rescheduling
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment
Preparation:
- Follow all pre-treatment instructions provided
- Arrive with clean skin (no makeup, lotions, or deodorant on treatment areas)
- Shave the treatment area as instructed (for laser treatments)
- Avoid sun exposure and self-tanning products before treatment
Cancellation Notice:
- We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling
- Cancellations can be made by phone, email, or through our online booking system
Late Cancellation Fees:
- Less than 24 hours' notice: 50% of treatment cost may be charged
- No-show without notice: 100% of treatment cost may be charged
- Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations
Exceptions:
We understand emergencies happen. In cases of genuine emergency or illness, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you. Medical emergencies will be handled with discretion.
Repeated No-Shows:
Clients who repeatedly fail to attend appointments may be required to pay in full at the time of booking for future appointments, or may be refused service.
Pricing:
- All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- Package prices are valid at the time of purchase
- Promotional offers are subject to specific terms and conditions
Payment Methods:
- Cash
- Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Bank transfer (for packages and courses)
- Finance options may be available for certain treatments
Payment Terms:
- Full payment is required at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed
- Package payments must be made in full before the first treatment
- Deposits are required for certain treatments and are non-refundable
Treatment Packages:
- Packages must be used by the named purchaser and are non-transferable
- Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated
- Unused sessions cannot be refunded after this period
- Packages cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated
- Session intervals should follow recommended treatment schedules
Gift Vouchers:
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced
- Any remaining balance after treatment can be used for future services
- Gift vouchers are subject to availability
Refund Policy:
- Due to the nature of our services, refunds are generally not offered once treatment has commenced
- Unused package sessions may be refundable within 14 days of purchase (cooling-off period) minus any sessions used
- Product purchases may be returned within 14 days if unopened and in original condition
- Refunds for defective products will be processed within 14 days
Complaints Procedure:
- We take all complaints seriously and aim to resolve issues promptly
- Please raise any concerns with our clinic manager in the first instance

- We aim to respond to all complaints within 5 working days
- If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to relevant regulatory bodies
Treatment Risks:
- All aesthetic treatments carry inherent risks which will be explained during consultation
- You will be required to sign a consent form acknowledging these risks
- Results are not guaranteed and may vary between individuals
- We are not liable for results that do not meet your expectations if treatment was performed correctly
Limitation of Liability:
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not liable for adverse reactions if you failed to disclose relevant medical information
- We are not liable for results affected by failure to follow pre/post-treatment instructions
Insurance:
We maintain comprehensive professional liability insurance. Details are available upon request.
We strive to maintain a safe, comfortable, and professional environment for all clients and staff.
We expect clients to:
- Treat all staff and other clients with respect and courtesy
- Arrive in a sober state (not under the influence of alcohol or drugs)
- Maintain appropriate behavior and language at all times
- Follow clinic policies and staff instructions
- Inform us of any concerns or discomfort during treatment
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse service to anyone who behaves inappropriately
- Ask clients to leave the premises if conduct is unacceptable
- Ban clients who repeatedly violate our policies
- Involve authorities if behavior constitutes harassment or threat
Website Content:
- All content on our website is owned by Touchwood Laser and Skin Clinic
- This includes text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements
- Content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission
Photography:
- Before/after photos remain our property unless otherwise agreed
- Photos will only be used with your explicit consent
- You may withdraw consent for photo use at any time
Reviews & Testimonials:
By providing a review or testimonial, you grant us permission to use it for marketing purposes. We may edit for length or clarity but will not alter the meaning.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Severability:
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement:
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any treatment consent forms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Touchwood Laser and Skin Clinic.
